Local is a must visit place to have a fabulous and scrumptious dining experience. It is located on the KG marg, Cannought place.
It offers an exotic variety of Indian delicacies ranging from street food to the illustrious food. You'll have to admit that if you visit this place once, you'll become a fan of it. This place is a huge area of guaranteed fun and good dining experience. They have a huge screen in the center and have the leather couches, high chairs and wooden chairs arranged adjacent to the screen in a beautiful manner.
We observed every details minutely and I can proudly say that we loved every bit of time we spent here. The staff was well trained and courteous. The food served was absolutely authentic and mouth-watering.
Food :-
Local chaat : We ordered Raj kachori, gol gappe and vada pav.
They were utterly delicious and for a once we thought that we were having these chaat at some street. They had every flavour of the street food stuff, which is very rare to find in such a big place like that. Absolutely comply with its name "Local".
Salads :
We had veg and chicken cesar salad. The salad was delectable, healthy and very presentable, enough to replenish the energy wasted during the weekdays for office related work.
Fatafat Appetizers : There was a huge demand for these fatafat appetizers amaong us.
We ordered Kesar dahi ke kabab, crispy chicken basket, galauti on mini warke, hummus pita and hearty drums of heaven. The most recommended appetizer would be hummus pita, galauti on mini warke and crispy chicken basket.
They were undoubtedly lip-smacking and palatable enough to force us crave for more. Full marks for the taste and presentation.
Pizza : We had veggie lovers pizza and chicken tikka masala pizza.
Even though they had right amount of toppings and cheese, but I beleive the team of Local needs to improve in this department. I am pretty sure this will be rectified till my next visit.
Mains : We were already full but love for main course and their presentation forced us to jump over the mains. We hogged over penne alfredo, fish n chips, stir panfry noodles, chicken biryani, makhan vala chicken, railway station ka mutton, paneer buttan masala, dal makhni and breads.
Fish n chips were simply amazing, one of the best I ever had. Makhan vala chicken and paneer butter masala were absolutely authentic and would rate them high among the mains.
In a nutshell, we had some mouth-watering and excellently presented North Indian food.
I would recommend everyone to go ahead and experience the delcious food and beautiful ambience of this versatile restaurant which would definately enlighten your day.
